Experience in this class the dishes and cooking techniques passed on from generation to generation by family matriarchs. Discover roasting and simmering combinations that you can't learn anywhere else. Experiment with recipes that create one-of-a-kind flavors reminiscent a childhood spent in the kitchen with mother and grandmother. Make Argentine Empanadas from Scratch

The secret to delicious empanadas comes from choosing a unique combination of ingredients and spices. Small enough to be an appetizer or hearty enough to become your main course, empanadas are becoming a go to dish for social gatherings around the world. Easy to make, store, and serve, fillings vary from spinach, chicken, beef, corn and even fish. Empanadas can be made ahead of time and baked right out of the freezer. Learn to make several types of empanadas, from a local of Mendoza, the wine country of Argentina. Class Cost: $32   Materials Cost: $10
