When we think of summer we think of longer days, warm weather, exciting travel or a relaxing vacation! With over 175 classes and workshops starting throughout the term, your summer adventure awaits you right here at the CLL.

The CLL: Outside the Classroom
This summer, get out and about Santa Barbara with our CLL classes around town – art at the beach, hiking our trails, cooking field trips to the Farmer’s Market and more!

Summer Term 2015: “Discover the World”

2015 Summer Term Print ScheduleThis Summer, travel the world right here at the CLL!

“Discover the world” with CLL classes like Photography for Travelers, Discover the truth about Spanish Wine, Become a Savvy Traveler: For Women and many more!

Summer registration begins on June 8. Classes start throughout the term, which runs from June 22 through August 22.

Summer 2015 Registration InformationMark your calendars! The first week of summer registration will be staggered by subject areas on Monday & Tuesday, June 8th & 9th. Registration begins at 8 a.m. each day online and in-person at the Schott and Wake Campuses.

New Classes


This summer, the CLL introduces 21 brand new classes, including our first-ever wine appreciation seriesClick here to view all the brand new classes happening this summer, and don’t forget to mark your calendars for registration. These classes fill fast, so register early! 

Evening Classes


Did you know, CLL classes are offered evenings, weekdays and on weekends to accommodate every schedule! Summertime is the perfect time to take an evening class at the CLL. Fill those long(er) days by by learning something new!

Fall Term Tuition Assistance


2015 Fall Term Tuition Assistance GraphicSBCC Center for Lifelong Learning will accept applications for tuition assistance for fall classes June 9 – July 9, 2015. Interested students may apply for a $75 tuition e-voucher. Applicants who apply for tuition assistance must demonstrate financial need, and are limited to one voucher per term, and two vouchers per academic year.

Here are THREE ways you can apply for Tuition Assistance for Fall Term 2015:

Download a printable form, fill it out and bring it to either the Schott Campus or Wake Campus.

Come to either the Schott Campus or Wake Campus to pick up a form.
