    CLL Hawaii Lifelong Fitness Cruise

An invitation from Sally Saenger, Fitness Instructor, SBCC Center for Lifelong Learning

This message is to inform you of a special opportunity to join me on a "Lifelong Fitness Cruise" throughout the Hawaiian Islands, December 14 - 21, 2013. The cruise is part of the inaugural fall term of the Center for Lifelong Learning, the new fee-based program at SBCC set to officially begin in September. I'm inviting you to attend a fun and informative "Aloha Information Meeting" on Monday, July 22.

If you've never been to the main four Hawaiian Islands - Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island (Hawaii) - this is the best and most economical way to visit all of those islands in one trip. You embark in Honolulu, visit all four islands during the next seven days and return to Honolulu after a memorable week cruising the Hawaiian Islands. If you are a seasoned traveler to Hawaii, you'll enjoy being able to revisit all four islands without unpacking your bags with every move. I recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to see Hawaii from a unique and spectacular perspective.

I took a group of Continuing Ed students on this cruise in 1998 and I loved it! One of the reasons I liked it so much was because of the convenience of having my 'hotel' travel with me – no need to pack, go to the airport, get to the next hotel, unpack, etc. Another plus is that your inter-island travel, lodging and meals onboard are all included in the price of the Lifelong Fitness Cruise package. As many of you know, it's not cheap to eat, stay and travel in Hawaii. It is a fabulous way to see all of Hawaii in a week.

I have staterooms on hold with special CLL package rates starting as low as approximately $1,390 to $2,690+ per person (double occupancy), depending on the category you choose. In addition, there is an AARP and military discount, as well as amenities for all categories. Highlights:
    • Capture the Aloha spirit at the luau show which was voted the "Best Luau Show in Hawaii" by Lonely Planet.
    • Nearly 100 hours in port on your Hawaii cruise – more than double any other cruise line.
    • See the lava flow into the ocean from Kilauea as you sail along the shores of the Big Island.
    • Newly renovated staterooms and restaurants onboard the "Pride of America" (Norwegian Cruise Lines).
    • Enjoy "Freestyle Dining" - No fixed dining times or pre-assigned seating.
As an added bonus, I will be leading fitness classes onboard so you won't even miss exercise class! With the package I have put together, you would also receive shipboard credit and other extras for cruising with me. I have cabins on hold, as this cruise sells out quickly, so contact me asap if you are interested.

The Aloha Information Meeting is scheduled on Monday, July 22, at the Schott Campus, from 5:00 to 6:15pm, in room 20. It will be a casual affair with refreshments and a chance to win Hawaiian-style gifts, and opportunities for special promos. Feel free to arrive and leave as needed. There will be a short video presentation about 5:30, so try not to miss that. There is no obligation associated with attending this meeting. If you're curious at all about this special trip, or just about Hawaii in general, join me for some aloha spirit, tropical treats and valuable information about traveling to Hawaii.

Even though this information is directed to SBCC students, the cruise is open to anyone, not just Santa Barbara residents. I would be delighted if you passed this email on to others. Mahalo!

    Aloha,
    Sally Saenger, Fitness Instructor, SBCC
