Oct. 2
Cook Italian- the Four Seasons
Learn to cook Regional Italian recipes inspired by the seasons. From comforting autumnal classics like butternut squash risotto to fresh and summery pesto al genovese-you'll develop skills to take you through the year deliciously. Become a maestro in the kitchen with standing ovations sure to follow dinner!

Oct. 5
Cooking Fresh from the Farmer's Market
Students discover new seasonal foods and experiment with familiar foods. Class will meet at the Santa Barbara Farmer's Market for an educational shopping experience, then return to the kitchen to prepare purchased ingredients. Fresh vegetables and salads are paired to create a delicious appetizer, entree, and fresh fruit dessert.

Applicious - Cooking with Apples
Apples are nature's most versatile fruits. Learn about all the different apples and which apples are best for baking or eating, and which are the healthiest. Discover the secrets of great apple recipes as you prepare appetizers, entrée salad, side dishes, soups and desserts using a variety of delicious in-season apples.
