CLL Classes Still Enrolling with Flexible Fall Schedule

The Flexible Fall Schedule Makes it Easy to Try Something New at the SBCC Center for Lifelong Learning

Evening, daytime and Saturdays: Classes and workshops start throughout the fall term

With over 500 very affordable classes, and start dates through December 14th the new SBCC Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) is offering something for every schedule. 

You can still sign up for hundreds of evening, daytime and Saturday classes, including single-session workshops! Classes start throughout October, November and December. Fall term ends December 14th

To find a class starting on a convenient date for your schedule:
  • Go to the Search form at http://sbcc.augusoft.net/index.cfm?fuseaction=1070&
  • Enter your preferred dates in the one or both of the top 2 fields (Classes starting before/Classes starting after)
  • Enter any other (optional) search info such as instructor name or key words, etc.
  • Click "Go"



2013 fall term classes highlights:
  • Classes are offered in five major categories (in more than 25 sub-categories): Arts, Crafts, Performance; Body, Mind, Spirit; Business, Finance, Work; Events, Film, Words; and Home, Nature, Technical.
    Sample courses open for enrollment now include: Cook Italian – the Four Seasons, Baby Sign Workshop, Modeling the Figure in Clay, Hiking Santa Barbara, Superb Sauces, Zumba, Abstract Painting, and more than 175 other class offerings.
  • Increased scheduling options: Classes are offered on weekdays, evenings and weekends, and range from one-time workshops, two- to four-session series up to 14-week programs; classes start and end throughout the fall term, September 9 – December 14.
  • Introducing “CLL Presents,” a new lecture and special event series focused on today’s vital issues, with dynamic guest speakers, and including the highly popular Mind & Supermind and Self-Esteem: Seek It and Keep It event series.
  • Classes for Spanish speakers: CLL introduces classes in health, relaxation, fitness and parenting categories, conducted in Spanish.
  • Free CEUs (Continuing Education Units): new this fall, there will be no additional charge for CEUs for eligible health care and mental health care professionals.
  • Fall class schedules are available at the SBCC Wake and Schott Campuses, at newsstands throughout South Santa Barbara County and in the Santa Ynez Valley, and the online catalog available at www.sbcc.edu/CLL.
