Sell your Arts/Crafts at the CLL Arts & Crafts Fair

Showcase your work at the CLL Arts & Crafts Fair

Join CLL teachers and students at the 2nd Annual CLL Arts & Crafts Fair at the SBCC Wake Campus on Saturday, November 15th.

Here's YOUR chance to participate and join the CLL teachers and students who will be selling artwork and crafts created in CLL classes – just in time for the community to do their holiday shopping!  



To apply, you must fill-out an application and waiver form and submit with $30 application fee check to "Center for Lifelong Learning ". 
Pick up your application today at the Wake and Schott Campus.

 To apply for a table:
  1. Please complete the application form and waiver of liability, available at the Wake and Schott Campus.
  2. Submit forms with your check for $30 made out to “SBCC Center for Lifelong Learning."
  3. Leave your application in an envelope in the CLL Arts & Crafts Fair boxes in the Information / Registration Office at the Wake or Schott Campus.

Get Crafting the First Week of Summer Term at the CLL

Did you know, the CLL summer term begins June 23 and runs through August 23?

Treat yourself this summer, and experience all the CLL has to offer!

Why not dive right in to lifelong learning with these crafty classes, starting next week:

6 Tuesdays, beginning June 24th
12:30 p.m.  – 4 p.m.
OR 6 Wednesdays, beginning June 25th
5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Students will learn basic skills to create several fused glass pieces. Emphasis will be placed on creating functional, yet artistic pieces, including a small plate or bowl. The class will be taught at a relaxed pace with emphasis on artistry and fun. Students will experience the wonderfully equipped glass studio. Class Cost: $155.00   Materials Cost: $10.00 Register Here.

9 Thursdays, beginning June 26th
1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
This course on the art of enameling on metal begins by exploring the basic principles of enameling through the melting of powdered glass on the surface of copper or silver sheet metal in artistic patterns. Students also learn a variety of more advanced techniques including the use of silver or gold foils and cloisonné. Class Cost: $160.00   Materials Cost: $35.00

In this class you will explore the techniques of hand building and wheel throwing to create containers especially for fresh cut flowers and potted plants. No experience is needed to complete these ceramic projects, just a desire to create something beautiful with your own hands. All skill levels will benefit from demonstrations and then choose to complete their project by hand building or wheel throwing.
Class Cost: $136.00   Materials Cost: $25.00
