Now is the time to plan your 2015 culinary adventure at the CLL. Discover our great hands-on classes and workshops, and discover your ‘inner chef’! These classes fill fast, so be sure to register early.

What’s cooking at CLL this winter? Here are a few of our brand new classes for 2015:

Washoku: Japanese Cooking
with Fukiko Miyazaki
2 Saturdays, beginning February 28th
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
In this class, you will explore the traditional cooking methods and techniques of Japanese cuisine, or Washoku. More than just cooking, you will discover the history and essential background to help put the dishes in context. Come add Japanese cuisine your repertoire!

Empanadas are becoming a go-to dish for social gatherings around the world. Easy to make, store, and serve, fillings vary from spinach, chicken, beef, corn and even fish.

Learn new ways to use delicious citrus fruits and cook delicious dishes from appetizers to salads and entrees to desserts using this season's best fruit! You will learn about selection, storage and preparation of all citrus. Class Cost: $62.00   Materials Cost: $24.00

6 p.m – 9 p.m.
From potatoes, beets, carrots, and parsnips to rutabagas, turnips and so much more, tubers are satisfying and warming and plead to be added to soups and stews. These tubers are typically firm to the touch, making them perfect candidates for soups, stews, and long braises. Class Cost: $34.00   Materials Cost: $15.00

Always remember, the most important kitchen utensil is a sharp knife. Learn to chop those veggies properly, with our Look & Learn video, "Knife Skills"

  1. Hello friends!! I am looking some cooking class video from where I can learn cooking. Actually I love to cook food but I am not a good chief. So please recommend me some good links where I can get great recipes.
