Adult Education Program On South Coast Celebrating First Anniversary As Self-Sufficent Program

An adult education program on the South Coast which served thousands of people annually became another casualty of the state funding crisis.

But, college officials, students, and teachers rallied, and came up with a creative approach to keeping the program running by making it self sufficient.

The Santa Barbara City College Center for Lifelong Learning is going to celebrate its first anniversary this weekend.

CLL at Feast Your Eyes Friday, Nov. 7

CLL art teacher, Bob Mask will have two paintings in the upcoming Arts Fund Gallery show Feast Your Eyes.

An Allegory of After Life, Family Album: Rita Mae Is Resting Now, remembers the Baby of the Family and her Cat and their untimely passing.

Showcase your work at the CLL Arts & Crafts Fair Join CLL teachers and students at the 2nd Annual CLL Arts & Crafts Fair at the SBCC Wake Campus on Saturday, November 15th. Here's YOUR chance to participate and join the CLL teachers and students who will be selling artwork and crafts created in CLL classes – just in time for the community to do their holiday shopping!   To apply, you must fill-out an application and waiver form and submit with $30 application fee check to "Center for Lifelong Learning ".  Pick up your application today at the Wake and Schott Campus.  To apply for a table: Please complete the application form and waiver of liability, available at the Wake and Schott Campus. Submit forms with your check for $30 made out to “SBCC Center for Lifelong Learning."
